Hankook comments on positive tyre test results

The results of a number of comparative tyre tests have been published in various magazines during the last month or so, including in several Auto Bild titles. Hankook Tire has commented on the victory of its Ventus Prime³ in Auto Bild’s annual test of 50 size 205/55R16V summer tyres, and on the second place attained by the Hankook Ventus S1 evo² in the 20-inch (255/35R20 front and 295/30R20 rear) tyre test published in Auto Bild Sportscars.

“All of us at Hankook Tire are extremely proud of the scores that our ‘Ventus Prime 3’ and ’Ventus S1 evo2’ achieved,” stated
Seung Hwa Suh, commented Hankook Tire’s vice-chairman and chief executive officer. “We believe that it is a result of Hankook Tire’s consistent commitment in technology advancement.” He added: “Hankook Tire will continue our dedication to make innovations in product performance in order to deliver the utmost driving satisfaction for our customers.”

And even though a Hankook tyre finished seventh of seven in a test of 19-inch (235/55 R19 front and 255/50 R19 rear) SUV tyres published in Auto Bild Allrad, the tyre maker has no reason to be ashamed – the magazine’s tyre testers commented that there were no bad tyres in the test, and the Hankook Ventus S1 evo² SUV was given a rating of ‘good’, the same rating achieved by five of the seven tested tyres.
