NFT signs Bandvulc service contract

Chilled food distributor NFT signs up with Tyre Maintenance, Bandvulc’s service arm

NFT, the UK’s market leader in chilled food distribution have agreed a new long-term contract with Tyre Maintenance, the service arm of Bandvulc, for the management and control of its LGV commercial tyre requirements.

Dave Seaton, fleet engineer for NFT commented that the contract was based upon competitive commercial terms included consideration to the proactivity of the supplier. “It’s all too easy to continue albeit with good rates, and be satisfied that all is well. Tyre Maintenance however, continues to progress and develop its service offering and tyre package and maintain a test programme to innovate, test and conclude projects throughout our term together.”

The new contract sees Tyre Maintenance managing all 430 of NFT LGV assets throughout the UK.

Paul Fields, director of operations for Tyre Maintenance added; “We’re delighted to have agreed new terms with NFT, they are a long standing client with whom we continue to work to improve every aspect of our delivery.”

Six of NFT’s sites in the UK will be serviced by Tyre Maintenance’s nominated partners nationwide. Bandvulc remains the primary tyre supplier for all drive and trailer axle with Continental being the main new tyre supplier and OEM specified products.
