Don’t be caught out by power cuts – Machine Mart

Machine Mart offers a range of generators, including Clarke Power Petrol Generators

Machine Mart is warning its customers to prepare themselves against the possibility of power cuts, citing an announcement from the National Grid, which says the risk of households and companies experiencing energy blackouts this winter is at its most severe for a decade. The difference between available supply and expected peak demand is 1.2 per cent, the lowest since 2005-06.

To guard against being caught out this winter, Machine Mart offers a range of generators, including Clarke Power Petrol Generators, which are suitable for a variety of applications. They have an easy-start 4 stroke engine (some with electric start) that meets the latest EU directives with noise levels as low as 65dBA. With up to 5.5kVA output available from this range as well as a variety of socket outputs for both 230v and 110v applications, models feature extra-long run fuel tanks as large as 25 litres that can run up to 13 hours at three-quarters load.

The company also stocks a range of Clarke Inverter Generators provides an ideal ready source of electrical power that delivers up to 2.2kW output. These generators use Pure Sine Wave Technology which controls the electrical output being generated in order to ensure clean stable power delivery which is essential for computers and other sensitive electrical equipment. With fuel tanks up to 7 litres and a running time at ¾ load of up to 7 hours, these are reliable, stable inverter generators.

Other generators in the Machine Mart range include the compact, lightweight portable petrol generator, such as the G1200 that delivers up to 1.1kW as well as a selection of Honda petrol-driven engines and PTO generators.
