Pirelli supports World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for cancer charity

Pirelli Contact Centre employees in Burton helped raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support

Pirelli employees in Burton raised £391.10 from their Macmillan coffee morning, with the company topping this up to £500 in total. The annual coffee morning is Macmillan Cancer Support’s biggest fundraising event, raising money for people living with cancer. In 2014, over 200,000 people signed up, raising a record £25 million.

Heather Watts, a supervisor in the contact centre at Pirelli, organised the Macmillan coffee morning at the company. She said: “Each year we support the Macmillan coffee morning and this has been our best year yet. Everyone at the company supported the event including employees from the office and the factory so we would like to thank everyone for their generous donations, and also Pirelli for making the total up to £500.”
