Oliver Rubber launches PD Drive retread

Oliver Rubber Co. has launched the Oliver PD Drive, a SmartWay-verified drive-position retread for regional applications.

“The PD Drive provides a winning combination of low rolling resistance, tread life and traction in this new Oliver product,” said Philip Boarts, Oliver’s product category manager. “It delivers bottom-line fuel economy and mileage.”

Oliver’s proprietary tread compounding is said to offer strong tread wear performance and very low rolling resistance. Designed for single- and tandem-axle tractors, the PD Drive has 17mm of tread depth and is available in four sizes: 205; 215; 220; and 230. All Oliver retreads carry a national warranty to 1.6mm of tread depth.
