Lehigh appoints two vice presidents

Ryan Alleman has been named vice president for coatings, construction and asphalt

Lehigh Technologies, a leading specialty chemicals company that produces micronized rubber powders (MRP), today announced the promotion of two industry veterans to its leadership team. Ryan Alleman has been named vice president for coatings, construction and asphalt, and Jason Stravinski has been named vice president of operations. The executives are tasked with ensuring operational success and opening new markets as Lehigh continues its rapid market growth.

“Lehigh is fortunate to add such experienced and talented executives to our leadership team,” said Dr Alan Barton, Lehigh Technologies CEO. “To successfully bring low-cost, sustainable raw materials to highly technical markets, it is critical to have a team with deep experience in the markets we serve and the technical knowledge and credibility to back it up. Ryan and Jason have already established a track record for delivering compelling results for dozens of customers, and they will play a key role in helping Lehigh continue to meet rapidly increasing demand for sustainable materials in the specialty chemicals market.”

Alleman joined Lehigh Technologies in 2007 and has driven dramatic growth in the coatings, construction and asphalt segments over the past seven years. He introduced introducing a technically-based approach to the use of MRP in target segments. Prior to Lehigh, Alleman spent 14 years at Ciba Specialty Chemicals in several market development and commercial leadership roles. In his new role at Lehigh, Ryan will continue his focus on expanding the company’s product range, which now includes additives such as the innovative Rheopave technology in the construction and asphalt segments. He will also develop new markets for Lehigh’s MicroDyne MRP to bring enhanced performance attributes and lower costs to a range of industrial applications.
