Firenza MT-383 provides off-road grip in 4×4 range

Firenza’s MT-383 off-road pattern

While focused on capitalising on the growth market of SUV and crossover vehicles, Firenza’s range for the UK 4×4 tyre market includes two patterns with off-road capabilities. The Singapore based supplier recently introduced a new MT-383 4×4 off-road pattern. Manufactured in line with all the current features and benefits of the company’s growing 4×4 range, the MT383 pattern is currently available in 13 size options from 30×9.50 R15 LT through to 35×12.50 R15 LT.

The Firenza AT-186 tyre presents a combination of large drainage slots and fine sipes to provide a more comfortable ride as well as off-road handling capabilities. Centre blocks and shoulder lugs significantly reduce noise frequency levels. Two streamlined shoulder blocks accelerate water drainage while off-set shoulder block incorporating innovative edges further improve traction on all types of off-terrain road surfaces. The AT-186 is currently available in size options from 275/70R 17 through to 31×10.50 R15 LT 6PR.

The Firenza HT-183 pattern includes four straight grooves plus a special shoulder rib design that increases high speed cornering performance along with sipes to improve wet traction. Strong two ply steel sidewalls give improved protection against unexpected road hazards. The HT-183 offers sizes from 245/70R 16 up to 265/65R17.

The Firenza ST-185 tyre includes four straight grooves and deep sipes that improve grip on both dry and wet road surfaces. Its tread design improves acceleration performance, while a centre rib design and centre back row improve overall handling. The tyre also has a jointless nylon band to improve high speed driving performance and stability. The ST-185 is available in sizes from 265/60R18 through to 265/50R20.
