Goodyear OE for Toyota Tacoma pick-up
The new Toyota Tacoma is the 3rd generation of the popular model
Toyota has chosen Goodyear’s Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure as original equipment tyre on the Tacoma TRD Off-Road, a pick-up sold throughout the Americas. The tyre will be fitted in size P265/70R16.
The Tacoma has topped the mid-size pick-up sales charts in the USA for the past decade, and the third-generation model has now gone on sale. Toyota says the new Tacoma was designed to meet the needs of active drivers on a variety of tamed and untamed surfaces. The TRD Off-Road grade is equipped with part-time 4WD with an electronically controlled transfer case and automatic limited slip differential.
“For decades, both Goodyear and Toyota have built a reputation on helping off-road enthusiasts conquer some of the world’s toughest terrains,” commented Johann Finkelmeier, Goodyear’s vice-president of North America original equipment sales. “Our Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar has been tuned specifically for the 2016 Tacoma to provide superior performance during everyday highway driving, while allowing drivers to go off-road at a moment’s notice.”
