Maxam adds iOS App for Apple devices

Maxam have added an iOS version of its app for use on all Apple devices and replacing a previous iPad iteration

In January this year, Maxam Tire, the specialist manufacturer of OTR, construction, industrial and agricultural tyres, launched an App for devices working under the Android operating system. Now the company has launched a new, responsive version for all Apple devices.

Responsive means that this new iOS App, which replaces Maxam’s previous iPad version, can be downloaded on all Apple devices, such as iPads, iPhones etc., and the content will automatically adapt itself to the size of screen of the device being used. So, whether the App is being viewed on a 3” to 5” phone screen, or a 7” to 11” tablet screen, the information and illustrations will be displayed perfectly.

The new App is the result of more than 18 months’ development and constant improvement and utilises all the features that have made the Android App an indispensable tool for both dealers and end users.

A particularly useful feature is the TKPH/TMPH calculator, which allows the user to monitor the performance and productivity of his tyres. This has proved very popular with those who downloaded the Android App earlier in the year. A special section, accessed via a dealer access code, allows features such as the ability to share and edit TKPH/TMPH calculations.

Other features include a brief profile of Maxam and its commitment to manufacturing quality products; full details of these products can be called up, including sizes and individual technical specifications, together with a 3D photo gallery of all Maxam’s tyres.

The new App will be updated to include new products as they come on stream and, according to Anne-Gaelle Halter, Maxam’s Marketing Coordinator, when new products are released, the App and the website will be updated at the same time, thus ensuring that both are up to date. Updating is very simple; users just have to let their device update the App and they are thus always kept informed of the very latest information from Maxam.
