New catalogue for WAIglobal UK’s extended wiper motor range

WAIglobal UK’s new wiper motor catalogue

WAIglobal UK has launched a new catalogue to detail its expanding wiper motors range and its expertise in taking three different OEM technologies to create one aftermarket part, meaning additional benefits for distributors and installers.

Titled “For the Road Ahead”, the publication explains that, for example, the Volkswagen Jetta, Audi A3 and the US VW Jetta all have different wiper motors from the OEM and from competitors in the aftermarket. This causes distributors to stock a large amount of inventory to cover these popular applications.

WAIglobal UK has therefore consolidated these three different OEM parts into one and also upgraded the speed and torque of the motor. As a result, this means less inventory, more coverage and lower costs for the entire supply chain.

The new catalogue lists all 29 wiper motor references by part number and application coverage, which now exceeds more than 2000 vehicle models. Images of the product are included along with a “coming soon” list of part numbers to be added to the range.

Vehicle makes and models featured in the WAIglobal UK wiper motors range are Audi A3, Citroen, Mercedes Benz (200, 300, 500 series & C Class and E Class), Peugeot Boxer and Volkswagen Golf and Passat. These join existing marques such as Fiat, Renault, Seat, Skoda, Vauxhall and Volkswagen bringing the vehicle parc coverage to well over 90 percent.

The WAIglobal wiper motor range is listed on MAM & TecDoc cataloguing systems, allowing customers to identify the correct part in the quickest time possible.

All WPS wiper motors are manufactured to original equipment (OE) specifications with gears made from composite material to resist stripping. The product also features boards, mounting grommets and crank arms when required to aid installation.
