Euromaster appoints new MD for Germany and Austria

Andreas Berents has been named Euromaster’s new managing director for Germany and Austria. His succession of Dr. Matthias Schubert in this role takes effect in late June; Schubert has left Euromaster “at his own request” and will take up a new role within the industry in September.

“After four years as managing director of Euromaster German and Austria, Dr. Matthias Schubert decided to leave the company. I thank him for his commitment and dedication,” commented Guy Pekle, European CEO at Euromaster. “At the same time we are pleased to name Andreas Berents our new managing director for Germany and Austria. He has 20 years of trade experience and knows our business like the back of his hand. I wish him all the best and much success in his new role.”

Berents began working at Euromaster three years ago, and as operations and sales director was responsible for a total of 300 company-owned service centres in Germany. “I look forward to my new assignment and will continue on the path we’ve already set together with our experienced team of employees,” he said.
