Kirkby Tyres to support Double Coin, Sailun from separate CV Show stands

Sailun’s dedicated CV show stand will be supported by UK and Ireland distributor, Kirkby Tyres

Kirkby Tyres has revealed its plans to support its Double Coin and Sailun product ranges from two different stands at this year’s CV Show. Both brands will be exhibited on dedicated, neighbouring 84m2 stands separated by a walkway in Hall 3, with Kirkby staff participating on both stand 3D79 (Double Coin) and 3C70 (Sailun Tyres). The CV Show is held annually at the NEC, Birmingham, and takes place on 14-16 April.

Kirkby tells Tyres & Accessories that key products from the Double Coin range will include the new 385/65R22.5 sized RT910 super single. The tyre has achieved particularly impressive label results, matching those of premium brand rivals, with A-rated fuel efficiency, B-rated wet grip and two-wave (72dB) pass-by noise.

Also receiving particular attention on the Double Coin stand will be the RT606 coach and bus tyre in size 275/70R22.5, and the new RT600, described by the manufacturer as a “premium low profile regional all-position steer tyre.”

Sailun is renewing its CV Show partnership with Kirkby for the fourth consecutive year, and will exhibit the Qingdao brand’s full range of truck tyres, covering all applications. The stand will also feature the recently-announced collaboration between Sailun and World Child Cancer, as well as the opportunity for visitors to take the Batak Challenge; Sailun says the top performer will win a hospitality package for two to a Premier League football match of their choice.

Martin West, managing director, Sailun Tyres (Europe) adds: “Our range of truck tyres is excellent and covers all applications. Our partnership with Kirkby Tyres continues to develop and continues to deliver. We extend an invitation to all existing and prospective truck tyre customers to visit the Sailun stand in Hall 3.”
