Nankang’s Mad Max partnership promotion offers motorsport prizes

Nankang has a promotional partnership with the new entry in the Mad Max saga

Nankang Tyre UK, the distributor of Nankang brand tyres, is to offer a range of prizes in a competition marking its partnership with the filmic return of the Road Warrior, Mad Max: Fury Road. The top prize, a Supercar Track experience for two adults at Monza, including return flights, private airport transfers and three nights in luxury accommodation in Milan, is joined in the giveaway by merchandise sets, Mad Max trilogy bluray boxsets and Odeon cinema vouchers. Nankang Tyre UK’s marketing manager Ben Lawson says: “The Nankang Tyre brand is focused on performance, to partner with one of the biggest up and coming film releases for 2015, Mad Max: Fury Road we jumped at the chance, with the action packed film giving the same adrenaline filled fun as a fast paced race day that Nankang is involved in heavily over 2015 with our motorsport activity, it fits right in with the brand.”

In cinemas on May 15, Australian filmmaker, and director of the original Mad Max trilogy, George Miller returns to his original post-apocalyptic world with the Road Warrior, Max Rockatansky. Mad Max, played by Tom Hardy (something of an upgrade on Mel Gibson), becomes entangled with a band of survivors fleeing across the Wasteland in a war rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron). They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan, Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and ruthlessly pursues the rebels in the high-octane Road War that follows.
