The company boasts a wide range of brands and fitments to meet the needs and requirements of the sector; sales and marketing director, John Parker said, “the agricultural or (off-highway) market is what we do best and is definitely the area that the industry judges to be our core sphere of expertise.”

RH Claydon certainly has a broad portfolio of brands to serve the sector at a broad range of price points. It supplies BKT, Duro, Galaxy, Mitas, Primex, Supreme, Titan Trelleborg and Vredestein products. Parker makes the point that in a challenging market “this may seem a very tall order; nevertheless, with continual increased production combined with a sustained investment programme funding their policy of introducing many new sizes, profiles, applications each year, their aims looks very attainable.” Parker adds that the introduction of new ranges, Constar – a tele handler tyre anticipated to be of high interest to the UK – Snow Trac and Star Trac shows that the company “doesn’t believe in sitting on their laurels… they continually assess key performance parameters and where improvements can be found, implement them accordingly.”

BKT is backed by exclusive Galaxy and Primex ranges from the Alliance Tire Group stable at RH Claydon, Both have an “expanding product range of sizes, patterns, profiles and fitments in both radial and cross-ply,” and Parker also notes that Galaxy has followed BKT in getting OE approval with prestigious manufacturers.

Mitas and Vredestein are in “high demand” due to their extensive size and application portfolios, Parker says, with Vredestein “our main premium offering”.

RH Claydon’s comprehensive list of sizes, applications and fitments is backed by its own-brand range of tubes, Airtite.
