Agri machinery manufacturers now switching from Continental to Mitas Premium tyres

Following its announcement in November that it would soon begin substituting the Continental brand name for Mitas Premium on its European market original equipment agricultural tyres, Mitas shares that the process began in January. Agricultural tyres included in the Mitas Premium product line are those designed for high-horsepower machines, including Very High Flexion (VF) and Super Flexion Tyres (SFT).

“Key agriculture machinery manufacturers such as AGCO, Claas, Case IH, John Deere and Same Deutz-Fahr have endorsed the launch of Mitas Premium and are already starting to mount Mitas Premium on their newly produced agriculture machinery. Mitas is proud of these endorsements and is committed to meeting the highest expectations of its partners,” said Andrew Mabin, Mitas’ marketing and sales manager.

The tyre maker’s strategy is to build equity in a single brand, namely Mitas. Mitas Premium tyres bear the same premium quality and technical specifications as the Continental tyres that Mitas has produced under licence since 2004. The Mitas Premium tyre line consists of rebranded Continental tyres and new products developed solely under the Mitas brand. Currently, the Mitas Premium range for the European market includes, in addition to SFT fitments and the brand-new HC 1000 and HC 2000 VF tyre ranges, the SFT IF (Improved Flexion technology), CHO (Cyclic Harvesting Operation), SST (Silent Speed Tyre), AC 65, HC 70, AC70 T, AC85 Row Crop, AC90 Row Crop and Agriterra.
