Valeo wins IAAF CV Supplier of the Year award

Valeo Service UK has won the IAAF Commercial Vehicle Supplier of the Year award at the IAAF (Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation) Annual Awards Ceremony, held recently at the ICC (International Convention Centre) Birmingham.

For the IAAF Excellence Awards, nominees have to provide entries to IAAF, which are then assessed by a panel of expert judges, selected by the IAAF for their experience in the independent aftermarket. Valeo collected the award from IAAF chief executive Wendy Williamson and sports broadcaster, Garry Richardson.

Valeo’s aim as a commercial vehicle multi-specialist supplier is to provide customers with so much more than just the OE-quality part, but with key support to all areas of their business such as technical, sales and marketing, with the aim being to make them as efficient as possible in supplying and fitting Valeo products.

The company has eight separate specialisms within its CV programme including: Braking Systems, Transmission Systems, Electrical Accessories, Lighting Systems, Rotating Electrics Systems, Security Systems, Engine Cooling, Wipers Systems and Window Regulators.

In 2013, the Group generated sales of 12.1 billion euros and invested over 10 per cent of its original equipment sales in research and development. Valeo has 122 plants, 16 research centers, 34 development centers, 12 distribution platforms and employs 79 500 people in 29 countries worldwide.
