Toyo Tire returns to Essen Motorshow

Toyo Tire Europe GmbH president Tatsuo Mitsuhata has confirmed that Toyo Tire Deutschland GmbH will exhibit at the Essen Motorshow which runs from 28 November to 7 December. The company returns to the motorshow after an seven-year absence in order to introduce key new products which will become available in the German market in 2015.

The 189m2 booth is divided into two distinct areas. According to the company, a ’performance’ area will showcase two new UHP tyres. Featuring the fastest Audi RS3 in the world, this space is designed to be “a magnet for all the tuning enthusiasts from Europe who visit the show”.

The second area, an off-road section, will see the launch of a new 4×4 product. Occupying half the booth, a giant off-road track has been constructed. Visitors will be invited to race a remote control Robby Gordon Hummer on a specially constructed course. A range of prizes are available for those who can skillfully negotiate the challenging course quickly. An Opel Mokka Rally Raid car, equipped with Open Country M/T-R race tyres will also be on display in the off-road area. The car, due to compete in the Africa Eco Race driven by Toyo Tires sponsored driver Balázs Szalay is a formidable off-road racecar.

Meanwhile a 4 x 3 metre screen will show the firm’s new AC Milan (a team the firm sponsors) movie. The film was watched by over 1.7 million visitors on YouTube in the first week after its release.
