Official opening for Latin America’s biggest retreading plant

The Ivo Recap facility in Brazil can retread up to 20,000 tyres a month

A facility said to be Latin America’s largest retreading plant opened late last month in Brazil. The 6,000 square metre plant in Campina Grande do Sul, Paraná state, is operated by Ivo Group company Ivo Recap and has a 20,000 tyre a month capacity. The facility retreads truck, OTR, industrial and agricultural tyres.

Ivo Recap, a member of the Vipal Authorized Network, officially opened the new plant on 28 August at a ceremony attended by around 800 guests. “Today we are certain that we offer retreading with the best global standards, both in terms of equipment and processes,” stated Ivo Recap director Adalberto Moreno. Vipal Rubber president Arlindo Paludo, in turn, congratulated its partner company’s directors and team. “The long path of over 62 years of success of Ivo Recap is very similar to that of Vipal,” he commented.
