CAM to stage inaugural UniSerV user event before NTDA dinner

Systems provider to the tyre industry, CAM has announced that it will host the inaugural UniSerV user group event before October’s NTDA dinner. Anne Sherwood, business support manager of Tructyre Fleet Management will chair the event on Wednesday, 8 October 2014 at Manchester’s Hilton Deansgate at 14:00.

The roundtable will bring together users of the UniSerV platform to discuss its applications in the commercial tyre industry. Topics will include: capturing job information in real time; future proofing businesses with links to third party billing systems;  reducing admin burden; achieving a paperless environment; and streamlining job sheet processing so that invoicing and payment is speeded up, significantly improving cash flow.

Previewing the user group meeting, Anne Sherwood says: “We want to ensure that tyre service operators understand the future potential of UniSerV for their businesses in terms of efficiencies generated and the improvements and growth that can be attained.  By meeting on a regular basis, the user group will be able to share best practice, exchange views and ideas, and plan for new developments by CAM that will continue to enhance our commercial tyre operations.”

Mike Allen, managing director of CAM, adds: “We’re very much looking forward to the first event and Anne is the perfect advocate to be chairing the group.  Tructyre was very much an early adopter of UniSerV and has made significant progress in transitioning the business from ‘doing paperwork’ to ‘auditing paperwork’, ensuring straight-through-processing of near real-time transactional data from the field.”
