Bosch Automotive Aftermarket appoints new UK/Ireland divisional director

Dominic Moran

Starting 1 October, Dominic Moran will assume top level responsibility for the supply of automotive parts, workshop equipment, software and services for Bosch Automotive Aftermarket in the role of divisional director for the UK and Ireland. He replaces Robin Shaw who has recently been named as new Bridgestone Northern zone MD.

Moran moves from his current position as country sales director for Bosch Automotive Aftermarket in the UK and Ireland, and brings with him significant experience from previous roles within the automotive sector. His career at Bosch includes more than four years as regional sales manager for the Automotive Aftermarket in Oceania (including Australia and New Zealand). In December 2011, he moved to the UK to take up his appointment as country sales director and assumed responsibility for business development and building customer relationships as well as distribution strategy.

Commenting on his new role, Moran said: “The industry has experienced huge change in the last five years, but Robin’s diligence has seen Bosch Automotive Aftermarket maintain its significant position and thrive in a difficult market. I’ll be working to build on the Division‘s achievements and continue to provide customers with the best possible service and solutions.”

Until further notice, Moran will continue to support the UK and Ireland sales function.
