Maxam signs up Spanish distributor

Luxembourg-based Maxam Tire has announced the appointment of Recambios Frain S.L. as a distributor for Maxam OTR tyres in Spain. The deal was finalised at the recent Reifen exhibition in Essen and the first tyres have been shipped to Recambios Frain’s warehouse at Lugo, in northwest Spain.

Recambios Frain was founded by Francisco Dorado, who has 35 years’ experience in the industry, and the company now has 70 employees. A wide range of products (more than 500,000 references) is held in the company’s 15000 square metre warehouse, including spare parts and tyres for cars, trucks, agricultural and industrial vehicles and construction machinery.

Speaking of the appointment, Kevin Buckley, Maxam’s sales manager (Europe), said: “We are delighted to welcome Recambios Frain as the latest member of the Maxam distributor global network. With our range of products and Recambios Frain’s expertise and years of experience, I am confident that together we can develop Maxam Tire’s presence in the Spanish market.”
