Czech company Propneu S.r.o. was awarded the Maxam European dealer trophy for 2013 at the recent Expo Mokra exhibition, held near Brno in the Czech Republic.

Established in 2003, Propneu has been the exclusive distributor for Maxam tyres in the Czech and Slovak republics for six years and they have built up their business to become the market leaders in the supply and servicing of OTR tyres and tyres for construction equipment in this area.

Expo Mokra is a biennial fair for the display of machinery and equipment for the mining, processing and building industries. Set in a quarry, it boasts 70,000 square metres of exhibition space, more than 140 exhibitors and attracts 10,000 visitors. 2014 was the third successive show that Propneu exhibited at Mokra and there was considerable interest shown by visitors in the comprehensive range of Maxam tyres throughout the three days of the show.

The award was presented to Propneu owner and director Marcel Prchala by Kevin Buckley, Maxam’s sales manager (Europe). “It is fitting that Propneu should win this award in their 10th year of operation; it is made in recognition of the significant business growth that the company has achieved in their six years as a Maxam distributor and we are looking forward to many more years of successful and profitable partnership,” said Buckley.
