Point S launches new web site

Point S has unveiled a brand new web site (point-s.co.uk) which offers additional benefits to members and is designed to make it quicker and easier for motorists to book a tyre change online.

Developed in response to members’ feedback about the previous version, the new Point S website is designed to offer a simpler, more user-friendly layout. It will also harness the power of social media, with links to the Point S Twitter feed and Facebook page, ensuring that member businesses are promoted to the widest possible audience.

The ‘reserve & fit’ page has been redesigned and will now feature the Point S network’s three top selling brands at the top of the page. Detailed improvements mean that customers will be able to find, choose and book replacement tyres more easily than ever.

Brand new pages will incorporate clear links to the dealer locator and reserve & fit sections, while a more straightforward members’ information page will include details about Point S member dealers so customers can find out who they are, where they are located and what services they offer.

Some sections of the new Point S website, such as the consumer pricing page, will be made available for members to embed into their own websites, adding value and strength to their own marketing efforts.

Further benefits for Point S members include a discussion forum, for sharing industry news, views, best practice examples and seeking advice from within the network. A battery guide has also been added to the website, complete with recommended retail pricing information and step-by-step fitment instructions to enable members to work on AGM equipped vehicles.

Members continue to enjoy all the other benefits of belonging to the Point S network, including zero commission on booked jobs and maintaining good margins by purchasing from the Point S approved brands.
