Korean-based tyre manufacturer Nexen has announced that it has won a contract to supply original equipment tyres (OE) for all new Chrysler 200 cars. According to the company, the new 200 model has been produced at Chrysler’s Starling Heights assembly plant in Michigan, USA since 2011.

According to the company, the new 200 model has been produced at Chrysler’s Starling Heights assembly plant in Michigan, USA since 2011. The 200 model will be fitted with 17 – 19-inch Nexen CP671 tyres.

Following on from this and other OE tyre supply news, Nexen reports that it is launching a new TV commercial in Korea. With new OE fitments for global car makers and capacity expansion in Chang—Nyeong plant, the advert is designed to showcase Nexen’s tyre technology especially wet performance. cja
