ATS Euromaster to feature van fleet performance tips at CV Show

ATS Euromaster van expertise CV Show ATS Euromaster will take a lighter look at commercial vehicles at this year’s CV Show, featuring tips from its 50 years of van fleet experience

ATS Euromaster will distribute advice booklets for light commercial vehicle fleets from its Commercial Vehicle Show stand, held at Birmingham’s NEC in late-April. The company will promote five decades of van expertise, offering tyre and fleet maintenance policy advice, in addition to its electronic FleetSure inspection tool and Service Value Calculator, which can be used to audit a truck fleet’s tyres and show achievable savings.

ATS-E’s van tyre booklet includes 25 tips to help van operators improve their fleet performance, covering everything from vehicle specifications to scheduled servicing. ATS-E runs its own fleet of 900 mobile tyre fitting vans, giving it experience from its own customers’ points of view, as well as being an Industry Partner to the Freight Transport Association’s Van Excellence programme.

Peter Fairlie, ATS-E’s group sales director, says: “Most fleets know us for being the country’s largest commercial vehicle tyre specialist, but not all realise our light commercial vehicle expertise extends to everything from Class IV and Class VII MOTs to complex fault diagnostics.

“We’ll be using the three days at the NEC to highlight our van excellence – building on the £12 million we’ve invested since 2010 in upgrading our network and extending the services we can offer van operators.”

ATS-E says truck fleets will also benefit from a visit to its CV Show stand. Both the FleetSure inspection tool and Service Value Calculator tools are utilised in conjunction with the consultative approach ATS-E favours when working with new customers, assessing a fleet’s current tyre performance and targets, before identifying the tweaks which can be made to secure improvements in efficiency.

Fairlie adds: “The country might be emerging from the economic doldrums, but own-account fleets and hauliers still need to be managing their running costs just as carefully. Almost every conversation we are having with prospects right now is about delivering financial savings and bolstering fleet performance.

“At the CV Show we’ll be demonstrating how our wealth of tyre knowledge and honest approach to business can help fleets drive more value from their tyres.”
