Lassa signs sponsorship deal with Germany’s HSV

In addition to participating in an advertising arrangement with England’s Premier League, Lassa Tyres has engaged in football sponsorship in Germany for a number of years. The Turkish tyre maker partnered with Borussia Mönchengladbach for the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons, and now it has signed a new agreement with Hamburg-based club HSV.

Lassa says it found a partnership with Hamburger SV attractive as the club is one of Germany’s oldest, most famous and successful football teams, and has the unique distinction of having played continuously in the Bundesliga since its foundation. “It is very exciting for Lassa Tyres to be a partner of Hamburger SV,” said Halit Sensoy, Lassa Tyres’ director of international sales and marketing. “This partnership clearly demonstrates our commitment both to German football and the German market. As the top competition in Bundesliga kicks off, we look forward to an exciting continuance of the season ahead and wish Hamburger SV and the Rothosen supporters the best of luck.”

“We are very pleased to welcome Lassa Tyres as a further renowned and international enterprise as our new partner. We are looking forward to the activation of a sustainable cooperation on the German market“, said Joachim Hilke, CMO Hamburger SV. Rouven Kasper, senior director of sport rights agency Sportfive Team HSV, added: “As the leading Turkish tyre brand, Lassa would like to further establish itself in the German market. In partnership with HSV this enterprise intends to develop its brand recognition, taking advantage of the national and international radiance of the club.”
