B&J Rocket declares Q-Plus campaign a success

B&J Rocket gives its Q-Plus campaign the ‘thumbs-up’

Close global cooperation with both distribution partners and retreaders is a reason for B&J Rocket rasp systems’ growing esteem as one of the most effective and reliable tools in the retreading business. Such a reputation doesn’t appear overnight, B&J Rocket observes; rather, it is a long process based on intensive interaction with users in order to constantly improve product and service quality. This is an integral part of the company’s Quality Plus programme, and a reason why B&J Rocket began a loyalty programme for its global customers in January 2013: the Q-Plus Check-Up promotion.

Through the purchase of original B&J blades, customers received vouchers and, depending on the number of vouchers collected, could choose between either an overhaul of their Rocket rasp head or, if not yet implemented, have it upgraded with B&J’s ‘Turbo’ technology. In exchange for three vouchers, the customer could even acquire a completely new rasp head equipped to their specifications.

Now, after a year, the company has reviewed the loyalty scheme and judged it to be a success: over 200 vouchers were issued worldwide and can, if they haven’t already, be redeemed by customers at any time. Andreas Müller, managing director of B&J Rocket, expresses strong satisfaction with the marketing promotion: “As expected, the largest number of vouchers was requested in the US and German markets. But even in smaller, more remote countries customers participated in the programme with great interest.“ Müller says he is also very pleased with the commitment of the dealers involved in the Q-Plus Check-Up campaign and encourages voucher owners to start redeeming them now because “only a technically sound rasp head ensures an even buffing. The result is a high quality retreaded tyre; furthermore, our blades attain the long and economic lifetime, as known from B&J.”
