Visconti di Modrone to lead Central Europe truck marketing at Pirelli
As of 1 December 2013 Ferdinando Visconti di Modrone takes over responsibility for marketing in Central Europe within Pirelli’s Truck business unit. He succeeds Alain Versace, who will leave Pirelli on 30 November.
Pirelli describes Ferdinando Visconti di Modrone as a “profound authority on European tyre markets.“ After studying at BocconiUniversity in Milan, the business administration graduate began working for Pirelli in October 2005. He worked for two years as a product manager in central marketing for the Car business unit at the company’s Milan head office. In January 2008 he transferred to Pirelli Deutschland GmbH in Munich (Visconti di Modrone speaks fluent German, English and French in addition to his native Italian) where he was engaged in the Car business unit as product manager for product strategy, market analysis, pricing, planning and logistics segments. Three years later the company placed him in charge of marketing for Pirelli’s replacement passenger car business segment in Austria and Slovenia.
In his new role, Visconti di Modrone reports to Manfred Zoni, Pirelli Deutschland GmbH’s sales and marketing director for Truck Central Europe.
