Moss Tyres voted GT Radial’s ‘dealer of the quarter’

Wetherby-based Moss Tyres has been named GT Radial Performance Centre Dealer of the Quarter. The business, which has been based in SandbackPark for over 20 years and operates sites in York and Hull, was chosen due to its continued investment in improving customer care and knowledge of the GT Radial product portfolio. In addition, Moss Tyres further improved customer service through team training sessions on the history and product attributes of every tyre in the GT Radial range

In announcing Moss Tyres’ selection, GT Radial manufacturer Giti Tire particularly praised a joint branded advertising campaign the business ran locally between July and September 2013. This campaign included one of the first petrol forecourt campaigns in the UK and the company’s promotion and support of Tyre Safety Month.

To mark its win, the company receives £300 of high street vouchers, a framed certificate and an engraved shield. “We are absolutely delighted to win this award, it is a fantastic feeling to be recognised for all the hard work we do for the customers and one of our key suppliers,” said David Marshall, manager of Moss Tyres Wetherby.

Jenny Leeson, marketing manager UK at Giti Tire, added: “The judging looks at the overall package offered by every GT Radial Performance Centre, from the promotion of the brand right though to the customer service experience. It is hugely important that we credit and reward those who truly go that extra mile to make a real difference.”

Matt Horscroft, GT Radial Brand manager at sole UK distributor Micheldever, concluded: “Moss Tyres has been nothing short of exceptional during this quarter, doing everything possible to raise their profile and ultimately increase sales in the Wetherby area. We would all like to congratulate them on their achievement, they really are worthy winners.”
