Bologna Motor Show cancelled

The organisers of the Bologna Motor Show have announced that the 38th edition has been cancelled. According to GL events, the central reason was “the total lack of the car manufacturer,” which are of course absolutely key to the presentation of an automotive exhibition.

Therefore, as the official statement read, “this market absence pushes us…to cancel the 2013 edition, both in respect of Motor Show visitors, and to work productively and concretely on future events, counting again on the massive attendance of the car sector.”

From its point of view GL events reported that it has “strongly invested” in the last 6 years to guarantee the only Italian International Automobile Exhibition and to support the automotive sector in a Country which has lost more than 50 per cent of the automotive market since 2007.
