TTC promotes wheel safety indicators

Date: 26th July 2013 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

TTC is promoting its “Checkpoint” wheel safety indicators to distributors and fleet operators. The latest development is that TTC is offering special size-specific versions of its product.

A variety of sizes of wheel nut are commonly referred to as "27mm". However, the sizes actually range from 26.6mm, 26.7mm, 26.8mm all the way to 26.9mm with the larger sizes being fitted to the DAF45 range.

The original TTC part number 60836 is a ‘Thick Wall indicator with a 37mm arrow/pointer’. This can occasionally be difficult to fit to the 26.8mm, 26.9mm variety of wheel nuts. Therefore TTC have introduced part number 62004 as an alternative. The new 62004 features a ‘thinner wall with a smaller 25mm arrow/pointer. 62004 has the benefit of being easier to fit the larger nuts.

TTC offer products specifically for our main industry sector covering truck, trailer, van and bus. In addition to truck and trailer applications, other market sectors include: mining, rail, military, agricultural and industrial uses. cja
