R&J Strang integrates Cam’s UniSerV platform

Date: 23rd July 2013 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Hamilton and East Lothian’s R&J Strang Tyre Services is introducing Cam Systems’ Cameo and UniSerV platforms in July. The company, which supplies car, truck, earthmover and specialist tyres, is aiming to streamline its job sheet processing, while managing its truck casings “from cradle to grave” via UniSerV’s Integrated Casing Management module. R&J Strang also wants to exert greater control over products and pricing via the Online Tyre Catalogue, while simplifying its stock management and invoicing processes.

Jackie Strang, director from R&J Strang, says: “CAM Systems will be a terrific support to our business.  Its understanding of our business issues, intelligent response and delivery will ensure that we continue to add value to our customers while gaining efficiencies.  Both platforms will help us make savings while maintaining a high standard of service.”

Mike Allen, managing director of CAM Systems, comments: “In today’s highly competitive marketplace, opportunities which enable truck tyre operators to differentiate themselves through speed, responsiveness and professionalism have to be maximised.  The integration of Cameo and UniSerV into R & J Strang’s business achieves this.”
