Approved Garages website launched

Date: 16th May 2013 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

A new Government-backed car MOT and Service business has been launched online offering great savings for car owners nationwide. Approved Garages has over 350 industry approved garages throughout England, Scotland and Wales, with more garages joining every day. The simple online service allows customers to quickly find their nearest reputable garage for all their vehicle requirements, specialising in competitive MOT and Services for all car makes and models.

Peace of mind is assured with genuine garage reviews and stringent quality and expertise control for every garage which have to comply with Motor Codes and Trading Standards, as well as being inspected and verified by the RAC, before becoming an Approved Garage.

Motor Codes was established after Government recommendation to self-regulate garage standards for the entire motor industry.

The Rt Hon Justine Greening, MP and former Transport Secretary, said motorists were set for improvements in customer service from garages under a package of transparency and value for money by encouraging garages to work with motoring organisations, like Motor Codes, which allows customers to find out and share good customer service through reviews.

“I want each motorist to be confident that a visit to the garage ends with their car repaired to a high standard by reputable mechanics rather than uncertainty about cost and the quality of service.

“Giving drivers the very best information about garage performance is absolutely key to achieving this goal. It means that responsible garages will be well placed to reap the commercial benefits of transparency.”

The Approved Garages site offers instant online price comparison quotes and no up-front payment is required. An out of hours call centre operates 24-hours a day, seven days a week, enabling an unprecedented customer service.

Chris Chaplin, Marketing Manager of Approved Garages, said: “We are very pleased to announce the launch of our monumental website. The site is extremely consumer-friendly, so there is no hassle and it is very straight forward to use.

“The service allows you to find and book your motor vehicle in for a repair, service or MOT with an Approved Garage in your chosen local area. We have an easy to follow booking process, but the really unique element about our service is that you are able to base your decision on honest, customer reviews.”

Approved Garages was born out of parent company GROUPAUTO, an International quality car parts distributor that has been operating for nearly forty years, with over 6,000 locations worldwide.
