Infinity steps up Drift team sponsorship

Date: 15th February 2013 Author: Admin Comments: 0

Infinity is increasing its involvement with the Acorn Motorsport team in the 2013 Maxxis British Drift Championship. Reflecting the company’s sponsorship and race tyre support, the team will compete in the 2013 championship under the new banner of Acorn Infinity Motorsports. AIM will run double the number of cars this season to four, challenging in all three classes – Semi Professional, Professional and Super Professional – with the goal of improving on last year’s fourth position in the constructor’s table.

Infinity Tyres marketing manager, Clive Mansfield commented: “We are pleased to increase our visibility and support for UK Drifting and strengthen our partnership with Acorn Motorsport and the inclusion of Infinity in the team name reflects that. Last year was a promising start to our involvement in UK Drifting, but we are all now looking forward to the new season, with eager anticipation that we can do even better in 2013.”
