Mesnac establishes global sales and service network
China’s Qingdao Mesnac Co., Ltd, the company said to be the world’s second largest supplier of tyre and rubber manufacturing equipment, has set up a new global sales and service network. Mesnac says rapid growth in China, Asia and internationally since the firm’s founding in 2000 made the establishment of the new Mesnac Global Sales and Marketing Company (SMC) necessary. Zheng Jiangjia, executive vice-president of Mesnac, has been appointed president of the new operation; Zheng will lead five regional sales and marketing teams, which will be located in China, Southeast Asia, India, Europe and North/Latin America.
Each of these teams will include sales, marketing and service functions to support customers in each region, and each region will be able to call upon the appropriate product support specialists to provide the level of engineering and technical expertise for the various Mesnac product lines and brands.
In announcing the new company’s formation, Zheng said “we have now reached a stage in our development where the global reach to our customers has to be changed from the headquarters in Qingdao to a regional basis. We recognise that real time communication and speed of service is something that our global customers expect. With our recent expansions and acquisitions we are now in a position to utilise our international expertise to provide such a global service.”
