KRT launches revamped kingsroadtyres.co.uk

Date: 11th December 2012 Author: Admin Comments: 0

Kings Road Tyres (KRT) has launched a new corporate website, bringing together its full portfolio of brands online for the first time. kingsroadtyres.co.uk is designed to allow customers to identify hundreds of applications for the Truck and Bus, Agricultural, Industrial and Construction, Consumer, OTR and High Speed Crane, Pneumatic Industrial and Tubes and Flaps ranges stocked by KRT. It also provides dealers with access to KRT’s online stock enquiry and ordering system and a facility to lodge trade enquiries.

The new site also includes an introductory video clip highlighting KRT’s 40-year track record as a leading UK and Irish wholesaler.

“The website brings our full product offer together online for the first time, demonstrating the great choice we can offer customers, covering every aspect of the market, “ explains Tim Bader, KRT’s purchasing and marketing manager. “While our highly respected telesales operation will continue to be the main point of contact for many customers, the website will be a valuable complimentary service for instant access to tyre data and stock information.”

KRT offers commercial users an unrivalled choice of products from premium OE manufacturers to exclusive distributorships and house brand options. The company’s Truck & Bus range includes brands such as Bridgestone, Continental, Goodyear and Pirelli, with Firestone and Matador TBR in the mid-range sector and the popular Aeolus TBR and Antyre TBR and OTR ranges completing the line-up.

For agricultural and industrial customers KRT is the exclusive distributor for Bridgestone, Taurus AGR, Farmking, Jetire and Wanda. They are also official wholesale partners for Michelin, Goodyear, Trelleborg, Kleber and Firestone and the recently introduced Linglong range of tractor radials.

Completing the offer is KRT’s Kingstone private brand of tyres and tubes for construction, OTR and industrial applications, produced in Europe and Asia.

Kings Road Tyres is among the largest and most successful wholesale distributors of commercial, agricultural, OTR and industrial tyres in the UK. With an outstanding track record stretching back 40 years, it now employs more than 200 members of staff across a national network of eight warehousing and logistics centres.
