Michelin rewards long-standing Stoke employees

Date: 20th November 2012 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Michelin Tyre has held an awards ceremony at Crewe Hall, Cheshire celebrating its UK employees with 25 and 40 years of service. The event took place on Friday 16 November and was attended by staff and friends. There were 23 recipients of the Long Service Awards; 14 who have been with the Company for 25 years, and nine who have reached the 40 year milestone. The staff members are from various roles, ranging from factory workers and commercial teams through to group services.

The awards, which are held annually at Michelin’s three UK manufacturing sites in Ballymena, Dundee and Stoke, honour staff who have stayed with the company for a considerable time. To mark the occasion staff received a certificate and a voucher to allow them to choose their own gift.

Sean Parry, factory manager at Michelin in Stoke commented: “The Long Service Awards are an opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of staff that have stayed with the company for decades. We pride ourselves on being a business which looks after its employees, encouraging them to develop their careers within the Company. The fact that we hold these awards is testament to this commitment.”
