GiTi appoints new Portuguese distribution structure

Date: 18th October 2012 Author: Admin Comments: 0

GiTi Tire (Europe) reports that it is aiming to increase market share in Portugal with a new distribution structure for the GT Radial brand. From this month Tiresur, which already controls the brand’s Spanish distribution, will be responsible for the passenger car, 4×4 and light truck tyres, while SEA will continue to control the commercial vehicle segment including medium and heavy truck and bus tyres.

Corrado Moglia, marketing director Europe, Consumer Tires for GiTi Tire, has sales responsibility for Portugal and Spain across both segments. Moglia said: “The new structure will allow us to excel in Portugal, a market where we have performed very well since GT Radial was first introduced 15 years ago. Working closely with our partners we will continue to improve the brand proposition, including the introduction of new products into an already comprehensive portfolio and an enhancement of the excellent field service already in place for tyre professionals.”
