Ashton Tyres the latest to introduce Cameo

Date: 16th February 2012 Author: Admin Comments: 0

Cam Systems’ Cameo suite will provide the platform for Wigan car and commercial tyre operator Ashton Tyres’ retail operation. The company says adopting the system will aid the expansion of the operation currently taking place, having completed a new building to house its commercial operation adjacent to its existing site. Director John Philbin sought advice from industry peers on software systems to suit his purposes: “Everyone I spoke to recommended Cameo. “Cam Systems is constantly developing the platform and is the market leader in innovation in the industry. The efficiencies Cameo delivers will enable our team to be more productive and we will save on hard costs.”

The Cameo suite will allow Ashton Tyres to create and store statements and invoices electronically, meet customer requirements at point-of-sale, provide efficient customer management, exert control over products and pricing, inventory, depot management, and utilise the benefits of integrated ledgers, real-time reporting and management views. It will provide the company with fast, accurate information and transparency across the business, enhancing the operation and its customer service further.

Mike Allen, managing director of Cam Systems, adds: “As companies switch from a paper and ink scenario they quickly realise the benefits of integrating and storing their data electronically, introducing greater efficiencies and making them more streamlined, which, in turn, helps them reduce costs.”
