Fulda range a growth area for Bandvulc

Date: 18th January 2012 Author: Admin Comments: 0

The Bandvulc Group reports its sales of the Fulda commercial vehicle tyre range grew 30 per cent year-on-year during 2011. The credit for this respectable increase goes to the both the Fulda portfolio itself and Bandvulc’s marketing efforts; following on from last year’s better than anticipated result the company expects sales of Fulda tyres to remain strong in 2012.

Last year saw the launch of two new Fulda products, the EcoForce 2 drive axle and EcoControl 2 steer axle ranges. Both of these tyres place an emphasis on cost reduction and lower rolling resistance. Bandvulc comments that the new tyres, thanks to their operational flexibility and design features, offer an “ideal solution with good overall performance” to commercial vehicle operators looking to reduce operating costs.  The new line-ups are intended for vehicles operating in both long and regional haul service as well as in distribution.

Bandvulc comments that the technology packed into these new products proved beneficial to UK fleet operators during their launch year, a fact reflected by Bandvulc sales and 2012 forecasting. “The sales plan has exceeded its forecast and continues to rise,” said Bandvulc commercial director Philip West. “It is anticipated that having launched the newest Fulda products to Bandvulc’s dealer network, sales will continue their upward trend and we look forward to a positive 2012.”
