Kumho Australia appoints NSW motorsport tyre distributor

Date: 16th August 2011 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Kumho Tyre Australia has appointed a new motorsport tyre distributor in the state of New South Wales. North Parramatta, Sydney-based Peak Race Tyres is now responsible for handling sales of motorsport tyres to competitors in track-based events around the state. Despite this arrangement, F-SPORT will continue to service major motor sport events around the country.

According to Kumho Tyres’ national marketing and training manager, David Basha, the appointment of Peak Race Tyres as the NSW distributor of motor sport tyres will allow Kumho to expand its customer base across a range of racing classes and series. “F-SPORT remains the overall distributor of Kumho motor sport tyres however due to the growing commitment to competitor support on Kumho’s behalf at national race and rally meetings F-SPORT could no longer consistently service the increasingly large motor sport customer base at NSW meetings,” he commented. “Peak Race Tyres will focus on NSW circuit racing activities allowing F-SPORT to concentrate on national race and rally operations ensuring our motor sport customers receive better access to the proven Kumho range of race and rally tyres.”
