Heuver Tyrewholesale extends Aeolus contract

Date: 31st August 2011 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

The 10-year contract between Heuver Tyrewholesale and Aeolus Tyres has been extended. Director Jan Heuver signed the agreement with Wang Feng, general manager at Aeolus Tyres. “We have been working with Aeolus for over 10 years now”, states Heuver in reaction to the contract extension.

“During that period, we have experienced Aeolus to be strong and reliable partner and have been able to establish a very close-knit relationship. It is like a good marriage, where you can say whatever you feel and where each party’s opinion is equally valid.

“Over the years, both companies have been able to introduce their own specific strengths; and this will continue to be the case. They are effective in producing high quality tyres and work with the best technology; we offer input about preferences in the European market and are able to manage our markets in our own way. Naturally, we negotiate hard about volumes and prices, but this is done in an atmosphere where the counter party is seen as an equal. The signing of a new multi-year contract indicates that there is a great deal of mutual trust.”

In the coming years, Heuver Tyrewholesale expects the range of Aeolus to be expanded further: “They are very quick to respond to market demand. They are also very ambitious and have the space and capacity to produce large numbers of various tyres. That fact that production now takes place under a ‘green label’ indicates that they have high regard for the environment, as well as European requirements.”
