Eurotire announces bias, radial price increases

Date: 24th August 2011 Author: Admin Comments: 0

OTR tyre company Eurotire has announced that it will increase prices by up to 9.8 per cent on all its OTR bias tyres and up to 11.5 per cent on all its OTR radial tyres, effective globally on 5 September, 2011. Orders delivered before then will be at pre-increase prices.

Mike Bloor, Eurotire VP of global sales, states: “Our company is well known for its quality products, technical support and commitment to our customers, but we’ve been unable to absorb rising costs on raw materials, energy and transportation. At this point, we find it necessary to increase prices on all our bias and radial OTR tyres”.

The company rounded off its press release on the rises by thanking its customers: “We appreciate the continued support and understanding of all our loyal customers and will make every effort to minimize these increases while still delivering a premium product at the best price.”
