Randy Mordue expands Fras-le role

Date: 18th July 2011 Author: Admin Comments: 0

Fras-le North America has announced that Randy Mordue is to expand his duties as director of sales and marketing, incorporating the commercial vehicle aftermarket segment. He was previously responsible for the light vehicle segment alone. His added commercial responsibilities extend to both medium- and heavy-duty vehicles. He will continue to report to Fras-le's director of operations, Zomar Oliveira.

Mordue joined Fras-le in 2010 with the objective of increasing the presence of Fras-le’s light vehicle disc brake pad line in the North American automotive aftermarket. He has more than 25 years’ experience in sales, marketing, national account and new business development. Before joining Fras-le, Mordue was general manager of aftermarket and OES sales and marketing for Akebono Brake Corpration.

“Randy’s expanded role helps unify all our sales efforts for the aftermarket under one director,” said Oliveira. “This change will help us better extend service levels to our customers and corresponds with the planned addition of more sales professionals to enhance our commercial and light vehicle business.”

“I’m personally excited about the additional responsibilities,” said Mordue. “I look forward to driving the relationships with our automotive and commercial customers forward.”

In addition to the reorganisation of leadership, Fras-le says it recently added 317 new part numbers to its 2011 catalogue in order to widen its aftermarket coverage. The company’s brakes are available in the US, Canadian and Mexican aftermarket. Its brake pad line is comprised of three different series: Extreme Service, Magnum Pro and Ceramaxx.
