Atturo: Developed to provide performance

Date: 5th July 2011 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Developed to provide a premium quality performance tyre at an affordable price, Atturo is a relatively recent addition to the world's ultra high performance tyre brands. "It was always our intention to pioneer and successfully market a true performance tyre that was within reach of every consumer," said company representative, Michael Mathis. "The performance segment has seen numerous and variable tyre sizes, especially staggered fitments, produced by the leading quality tyre manufacturers, or witnessed somewhat less efficient products from unfamiliar suppliers. Atturo sits in the middle of the price range without sacrificing the quality demanded by the performance tyre buyer. Manufactured in Taiwan, to the highest international standards, we are totally focused on providing the tyre sizes demanded of a niche market for speciality and staggered fitments.

Although we do not anticipate Atturo to be the lowest cost brand on the market, we do expect it to be one of the most competitive.”

Even though the Atturo brand was launched just 18 months ago, already in excess of 25,000 pieces a month are being sold by direct marketing, or though international agents, in over 20 countries.  The company is currently investigating additional supplies and talks with the existing manufacturer have resulted in an assurance that capacity will be significantly increased by the end of this year.

“It is essential that we continue to broaden the Atturo range,” continued Mathis.  “This is the primary reason for developing and producing our own moulds, which will enable us to introduce a whole new range of sizes.  Within a year from now, at least two new tread patterns and a minimum of 30 new sizes are schedule to be in production.”
