Federal and Consor discuss plans for Italy

Federal Tyres and the Consor Tyre Group report benefitting from their first joint attendance as exhibitors at a trade fair. During Autopromotec 2011 in Bologna, Italy, the two companies held their annual Italian distributors’ meeting. The meeting’s key aim was to emphasise and reinforce the common goal of improving the Federal brand’s image in the Italian market through supplying quality tyres.

Federal welcomed Consor Tyre Group members and associates from across the country for an open exchange of ideas, and reports agreements were reached to collaborate in the development of a sales marketing strategy that will improve brand awareness and the Federal brand’s market share in Italy. Federal Corporation CEO Jamie Ma gave a full account of the Taiwanese tyre company covering its history, worldwide accolades, and other key issues including a detailed business briefing.  Dealers commented that they left the meeting fully assured they would continue to receive the premium products and support they have come to rely on from Federal.

At the show itself Federal Tyres and Consor Tyres Group occupied an exhibition space adorn with a highly visible product display. Executives from both companies were on hand to answer questions from potential customers. Federal also officially unveiled its Couragia F/X asymmetric tyre.

“We are excited about our great future teaming up with Consor Tyres Group. It should be a perfect showcase for both of our businesses,” said Henry Lin, director of Federal’s global sales division. “We are really pleased with how popular our stand was this year at the Bologna show. The results showed an impressive interest from countries around the world including Russia, Eastern Europe, Northern Africa to name but a few. Consequently we are extremely confident the release of our F/X tyre range will soon be a great success not only in Italy, but everywhere else in Europe.”
