Jeff Allam to Open Second HiQ Centre

Date: 26th November 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Half a year after opening his HiQ outlet in Dorking, former British Touring Car Championship driver Jeff Allam has signed on the dotted line to open a second franchise centre. The fast fit network reports Allam is opening a centre in Leatherhead following a “productive six months” in partnership with HiQ. The ex-BTCC driver was the first UK dealer to secure a partnership with HiQ and his expansion is seen as a big show of strength for the network.

“Our first impressions of working with HiQ have been extremely good. They are flexible, supportive and offer a range of support for us, which has been invaluable,” said Allam. “Leatherhead was always a location that interested us and we are confident of making the business a big success. We have increased staff numbers by two, have again invested a good sum of money in the site and are hopeful that motorists will be enticed to our four-bay store.”

HiQ retail manager Peter Tye added: “We are continuing to target existing franchisees as well as new entrants. Jeff’s Leatherhead business is an example of us working closely with our existing franchisees, and it is a big achievement for us whenever an existing partner has the faith and strength to expand. Jeff and operations manager Paul Dobson have been wonderful to work with since they opened their Dorking centre and we are delighted to strengthen our relationship – and the network.”
