Interfit Launches i-fit Industrial Tyre System

Date: 2nd November 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Interfit, the UK’s leading forklift tyre services provider, has today announced that it will be unveiling phase 2 of i-fit, its new concept online tyre service system at the IMHX show in November.
Via secure log in i-fit will allow users to order tyres and schedule fitting as well as to manage tyre replacement by giving detailed information on tyres fitted, hours in use and spend. Service history for every truck can be quickly accessed giving users all the information they need to manage their tyre spend and evaluate performance.

Interfit managing director Paul Morey commented: “i-fit will give complete control to service managers allowing them to monitor tyre spend and performance across their fleets. Powerful reporting functions using real time data give in depth detail and total visibility on a range of key performance measures that relate to both the products we fit and the service we deliver.

Customers will have the unique ability to order tyres online from the UK’s largest choice of leading brand forklift tyres and schedule onsite replacement tyre fitting at the same time. This second phase of i-fit will allow us to deliver a nationwide service that stands apart in the UK materials handling industry; it’s not enough to offer leading products, the service and support structures have to be world class, customers have to derive a clear value from their service partners.

We have developed i-fit following consultation with our major fork truck industry customers and as such it has been designed to improve safety and service delivery standards as well as to significantly reduce customer internal administration costs – we believe that i-fit will deliver a series of tangible benefits to our customers and will allow us to deliver a better service.”
