Dealers Visit Taiwan with Federal Incentive Programme

Date: 2nd November 2010 Author: Tyrepress Editors Comments: 0

Federal Tyres is rewarding its top-performing dealers with a tour package to Taiwan throughout the second quarter of this year. The tours give winners time to experience local customs and see the country’s best-loved tourist spots. The fully escorted tour features southern Taiwan’s fabulous ocean and mountain views and the picturesque landscapes of Kenting National Park and Kaohsiung City.

Arriving at Taoyuan International Airport on Tuesday, 12 October, a delegation of four top Spanish dealers began their journey with a city tour, followed by a visit to Cheng Ching Lake as well as Spring and Autumn Shrine Pavilions. The customised tour also took them to renowned sightseeing spots and metropolitan areas of Taipei City including Shilin Night Market, known for its fresh Taiwanese delicacies, which attract crowds of locals and foreign visitors all year round. The trip then continued to the Longsan Temple, an imposing structure and a landmark of Taiwan’s cultural characteristic, and finally finished at Taipei 101 – the tallest building in Asia and a one-stop shopping centre for souvenirs, jewellery, art, furniture, and many others.

In addition to visiting popular tourist spots, a stop at the Taoyuan-based manufacturer was one of the highlights of the tour: “This is a fantastic opportunity to motivate dealership personnel with the best rewards possible, and we believe the inclusion of the factory in our itinerary will make our Taiwan trip even more meaningful” added Federal marketing executive, Diane Chang.

During the tour of Federal Tyres, participating dealers were shown Federal’s manufacturing processes. They were guided through various manufacturing areas to witness the carcass assembly, the bead installation, the belt/tread application and finally the curing process. Praising Federal as a globally recognised brand, Clark Freed B, general manager of Grupo Total 2000 was amazed to see the depth of knowledge from Federal tyres assembling lines: “The tour turned out to be stunningly successful and delightful. We had a great time during the whole trip, and the experience was remarkable. I would like to thank Federal Tyres for their hospitality and endeavours for arranging such an unforgettable tour.”
