Sumo Firenza “Builds UK Image” at Brityrex
With a prominent position at Brityrex 2010, Singapore-based Stamford Tyres said it had concentrated on further enhancing the growing profile of their Sumo Firenza brand in the UK, Ireland and Europe. The Sumo Firenza sales team welcomed “a steady flow of visitors” to the brand’s attractive stand, which incorporated an extensive selection of tyres incorporating PCR, UHP, 4×4/SUV, light truck and truck plus alloy wheels from the group's SSW (Stamford Sport Wheels) range.
Taking centre stage was the ST05A all new high performance pattern which was making its debut in the UK market having been launched at the Reifen Show in May. The ST05A has been specifically designed for the European and UK market sectors, meeting all European standards and offering an asymmetric pattern, low noise and rolling resistance and strong levels of grip for total control on wet roads.
Stamford’s SSW alloy wheels, a brand manufactured mainly in Thailand, also introduced its new black metallic chrome series to the UK market on its Brityrex platform, along with a number of wheels from the growing range.
Another priority for Pat Berriman, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing at Stamford was to meet potential new partners for the future. He explained that Sumo Firenza now has a wide product portfolio from car right through to OTR and therefore are always looking to appoint selective distribution partners for each market sector. Berriman concludes: “It is always good to meet our existing client base in the UK and Ireland which remains an important market for Stamford Tyres and Brityrex 2010 was a perfect platform to continue to build our corporate image in the market.”
